The highest or ultimate goal of Ayurveda and Siddha treatment is to attain absolute detachment of the ‘Atman’ or soul. This is the state of liberation or ‘Moksham’. At the same instance, the body, mind, and its equipment are not neglected but brought very much into focus and attention, as it is the only means of realizing the Self or Truth.
Ayurveda is a time-honoured and ageless science and includes herbal “balanced” medicines, massage, nourishment (Dietetics), Hatha Yoga and Pranayama, surgery, meditation, Life-style management, and psychology, and extends to include the deeper knowledge of spirituality.
Ayurvedic Treatment
The whole exercise and purpose of Ayurvedic treatment is to help us remove the excess Doshas and toxins accumulated over the years due to incompatible and incorrect life-style.
Short-term treatments include Ayurvedic Herbal formulas, Ayurvedic oil massage, Shirodhara Treatment, Shiro-Abhyanga Ayurvedic Head Massage, Ayurvedic Facial, and Pancha Karma.
Long-term treatment mainly deals with lifestyle management – how to live your life on a moment-to-moment basis without disturbing your natural and unique state (Prakriti). This starts now and continues throughout your life.
Yoga
Yoga is used as part of the Ayurvedic Lifestyle. The word Yoga means to “yoke” or “unite” in the ancient Indian language Sanskrit. Yoga is synonymous with Truth, One-ness, Samadhi, Nirvana, or Moksha. Oftentimes today the term Yoga is used to describe what is in fact Hatha Yoga or Yoga Asana and Pranayama etc.
