2020 has been a massive year, for awakening, mastery, and the breaking down of systems. It’s time for revisioning, as we approach the year’s last events.
December 2020 is a big month and the days leading up to the Total Solar Eclipse on December 14, Mercury conjunct the Sun at the Galactic Centre on December 20, The Great Conjunction and Winter Solstice on December 21, and the final full moon on December 29/30 are highly energetic, potent doorways into a new consciousness.
Total Solar Eclipse at 23º Sagittarius at the midpoint of the Great Attractor and Galactic Centre is a true Bonfire of the Vanities. At this intersection of Fate and Free Will, you won’t need to search for subtle clues in your own life – all sorts of relationships, behaviours, habits, preferences, and attitudes will suddenly seem like a total mismatch with who you are now. You are now in a moment where you get to review, rethink, and recreate just about anything you want. You can’t so easily relate to your past anymore. Your soul sees it all as just experience. There is less and less emotional attachment to it. It’s a blessing because this cosmic recycling is making room for new memories.

New Moon
A Solar Eclipse is a supercharged New Moon. A portal. December 14 is the last New Moon of the calendar year 2020, just days ahead of the Great Conjunction, which is ushering in the beginning of many new cycles. What seeds will you be planting? How are you revisioning the world into being?
With the New Moon in Sagittarius, we may want to take a look at our beliefs. Sagittarius is the truth seeker, desiring the higher truths, beyond facts. Sagittarius’ mantra is “I See” and a question to ask is “is what I see the truth?” We see as we are, through our filters and not as things are. As we move into 0 degrees of Aquarius with the Great Conjunction, in order to express the positive polarity of Aquarius, it is important for us to be open and accepting of beliefs different from ours. What is your vision? How is your world being revisioned?
Sagittarius is wild and free, as is an eclipse on the South Node, asking us to discharge, let go, dissolve and purge what is ready to go.
Jaime, Sacred Heart
On December 14, the Sun moves into the 11th Gene Key and Gate 11, giving further insights to “I See”.
As part of The Ring of Light, this Gene Key is about the human eye, and our internal and external vision. It’s also about the right brain of imagination, archetype, patterns…when we unify the left and right brain, our revisioning skills get clarified and purified.
The three bands of frequency for the 11th Gene Key (“The Light of Eden”) are Obscurity (Shadow), Idealism (Gift), and Light (Siddhi). The shadow of the 11th Gene Key skews our experiences, keeping us in illusion and delusion. This means reality is obscured from us, with us seeing only a narrow bandwidth of what is. We live a repressed world because we fear. What do you fear? What do you not want to see? With the 11th Gift, magic, fairytales, and possibilities begin to return to us, and the world. Then at the Siddhi level, we see all as light.

Saros Series 4 South
The Total Solar Eclipse on December 14 at 23 Sagittarius. As part of the Saros Series 4, this eclipse belongs to a family that originated in the South Pole. If you are in South America and the southwestern part of Africa, you may be able to witness this event.
A year usually has around four eclipses, while this final 2020 eclipse makes it the sixth for the year. Did we say 2020 is a pivotal and unusual year?
To understand this eclipse at the South Node of Sagittarius, we can look at all that the South Node represents. While some astrologers see life as a progression away from the South Node towards North Node, the South Node provides so much knowledge and wisdom for us. It’s where we are from, what we are comfortable with and good at, the bones of our ancestors, the stories, and also gems we may have overlooked in the quest for our true self. This eclipse, as Adam Sommer suggests, is a grand time for us to re-look at our stories, how we are telling them. How would you like to be revisioning the past, and so the future?
Into the world of predictive astrology, the solar and lunar eclipses fall like gentle rain or hail stones… Yet, each eclipse does belong to a larger pattern. Each eclipse is a member of a family and each family has characteristics.
Bernadette Brady, The Eagle and the Lark
In The Eagle and the Lark, Bernadette Brady writes that “as a rule of thumb, seems to be that solar eclipses are more external, dealing with events around the person…we can hypothesize that the solar eclipse will bring in events that we have not consciously precipitated.” In Appendix 6 of her book is found details of each Saros Series. Regarding SS4 South – “very strong emotional feelings concerning relationships and/or money. There could be anger or lust. There is a sense of fatedness and individuals may find themselves caught up in relationship events which are beyond their control. The best approach to this eclipse is to avoid rash action until the issues settle down.”

Adam Sommer
The Total Solar Eclipse of December 14 is a potent window, doorway, portal…an opening and yet we may not fully realize its meaning until three months down the line. Stay present, stay heart-focused and trust your somatic intelligence. It is time for revisioning, and rewilding, aligning and alighting with new possibilities.
Everything feels different. Remind yourself that this deep space eclipse wave is not head stuff – it’s somatic, physical, integrative. You may experience a cocktail of tension, anxiety, bliss, exhaustion, clearing, freedom … side effects of Embodiment as the old time-lines are dissolved and permanently deleted.

Remember to take pauses in your day to contemplate, observe how you feel. Be with your breath, hold your fingers, stretch, and stay out of your mind. Be bold in your revisioning of the world, from the inside out. 2020 has given us the opportunities to learn to pivot, to see what works and what doesn’t, and to witness the collapse of systems that do not work.
